Andhra Pradesh CM seeks EAM S Jaishankar’s assist in repatriation of employees from Bahrain | Information

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday requested the Centre to assist repatriate a number of employees belonging to the state who have been being ‘ill-treated’ by their employers in Bahrain.
In a letter to Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, the Chief Minister mentioned a number of Indian employees have been being ill-treated by their employers and had sought help to return to their house cities.”Among the many impacted employees, a sizeable variety of employees belong to the state of AP,” Jagan mentioned.
He mentioned the state authorities would prolong all doable assist to the Centre to repatriate the affected employees from Bahrain. He wished the Exterior Affairs Ministry officers to co-ordinate with both the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi or the CMO in Amaravati for any help.
