New Delhi: The central authorities on Wednesday (September 8) entered right into a Ceasefire Settlement with Nationwide Socialist Council of Nagaland (Ok) Niki group for a interval of 1 12 months.

“The Ceasefire Settlement and Agreed Ceasefire Floor Guidelines have been signed on eighth September 2021,” the ministry mentioned in an announcement.
The federal government has already signed a “framework settlement” with NSCN (IM) and ceasefire agreements with different Naga teams particularly, NSCN (NK), NSCN (R) and NSCN (Ok) – Khango.
Earlier, the federal government had signed Settlement with NLFT (SD) in August, 2019 by which 88 cadres together with 44 weapons joined the mainstream of society in Tripura.
In January 2020, with the signing of Bodo Settlement, greater than 2,250 cadres of rebel teams, together with all factions of NDFB, together with 423 weapons and an enormous amount of ammunition surrendered in Assam and joined the mainstream.
