A Raipur courtroom on Friday granted bail to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s father Nand Kumar Baghel who was arrested earlier this week for allegedly making objectionable remarks towards the Brahmin group.
The 86-year-old Baghel senior was arrested on Tuesday.He didn’t search bail then, and the courtroom remanded him in judicial custody for 15 days.
Later his lawyer Gajendra Sonkar moved a bail software and sought pressing listening to.
“After listening to arguments, Judicial Justice of the Peace First Class (JMFC) Janak Kumar Hidko granted him bail right now,” Sonkar stated.
After spending three days in jail, Nand Kumar Baghel walked out of jail within the night.
The case was lodged on September 4 on the DD Nagar police station right here on a grievance filed by the ‘Sarv Brahmin Samaj’.
Chief Minister Baghel had strongly disapproved of the remarks allegedly made by his father, and stated no person is above legislation.
Nand Kumar Baghel was charged beneath Indian Penal Code part 153-A (selling enmity between completely different teams).
