New Delhi: A drone coming from the Worldwide Border facet was shot down on Sunday (Could 29) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, PTI reported. The drone bomb disposal squad, which inspected the drone’s payload, found seven magnetic bombs and 7 grenades appropriate with Below Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL) hooked up to it, Further Director Common of Police (ADGP), Jammu, Mukesh Singh knowledgeable. Singh stated a police search social gathering found the drone on the border in Talli Hariya Chak space within the morning. 

The Pakistani drone was shot down after being hit by the bottom hearth on the border in Talli Hariya Chak space, Singh stated, as per PTI. 

“Rajbagh Police Station crew was on a standard search when information in regards to the drone was obtained. The drone was shot down and seven magnetic kind Bombs IEDs and seven UBGLs (Below Barrel Grenade Launcher) have been recovered. We now have averted a serious incident by recovering this materials,” Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, RC Kotwal stated, as per ANI.

The surveillance has been elevated and police search events have been being commonly despatched to the world within the wake of the frequent drone exercise from throughout the border.

This comes as Jammu and Kashmir is all set to host the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine, in view of which safety has been strengthened within the union territory.
