Ex-minister ‘strangled’, father-in-law of son booked

A 75-year-old BJP chief and former minister Atmaram Tomar was allegedly strangled by two males at his house in Baghpat district’s Baraut city Thursday night. An FIR has been registered in opposition to the father-in-law of Atmaram’s elder son Satya Pratap, a physician in Meerut.
Within the FIR, Satya Pratap alleged {that a} cash dispute between his father and father-in-law might be the motive behind the homicide.
