Inauguration and foundation stone of development works in Sarojini Naidu College Bhopal: Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 19:19 IST Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that many changes are being made in the field of higher education through various innovations . Such education system is being developed so that the youth can get more employment. A new form of higher education will emerge in the future. Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration and foundation laying program of development works sanctioned under RUSA and World Bank Project at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate Autonomous College on Tuesday. Minister of Water Resources and Fisheries Shri Tulsiram Silavat was present as a special guest in the program. On this occasion, Minister Yadav and Mr. Silavat made the building, upgraded canteen and autonomous cell room in the college worth Rs one crore 60 lakh. The foundation stone for the inauguration and works worth Rs 8 crore 60 lakhs was laid. Higher Education Minister Dr. Yadav said that new courses will be started in the colleges. Colleges will be fully supported to conduct courses including agriculture, medicine. He said that the college will now be able to spend an amount of one crore instead of 50 lakhs under the public participation item. He said that along with new courses, NCC related courses would also be offered in Sarojini Naidu College. The Higher Education Minister said that mother holds the highest position in the culture of India. Many women in history have worked with dedication for the country. Rani Durgavati, like the queen of Jhansi, has also contributed to the freedom struggle. The state government is committed to the welfare of women. Women have 50 percent reservation in local bodies. Water Resources, Fisheries Welfare and Fisheries Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat said that the foundation of change is possible only with the medium of education. Our daughters have an important responsibility in taking forward Madhya Pradesh. Daughters set their goals and move forward. Fiercely compete with Corona. In the program, female students who have been nominated in various fields were honored. College Principal Dr. Pratibha Singh, Administrative Officer Dr. Rama Singh, Dr. Seema Pathak, Dr. Shail Bala Singh Baghel and other professors, officers and students were present in the program.
