Man threatens to hijack planes from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal and Indore airports to Pakistan, held | Information

Bhopal: Police have detained a 34-year-old man for allegedly threatening to hijack planes from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal and Indore airports and take them to Pakistan, an official mentioned on Wednesday.
Officers on the Raja Bhoj Airport right here obtained a telephone name round 5 pm on Tuesday whereby the caller made the risk, Bhopal’s Gandhinagar police station in-charge Arun Sharma advised PTI .
Later, the airport administration complained to the Gandhinagar police.
“The person, who allegedly threatened to hijack the planes, was caught late Tuesday evening from Shujalpur city (about 100 km from Bhopal). He’s being extensively questioned as a part of the investigation into the matter,” the official mentioned.
Safety has been tightened on the Bhopal airport following the risk name, one other official mentioned.
On Tuesday night, a Mumbai-bound flight took off from Bhopal after a strict safety verify, he mentioned.
