NIA conducts searches at a number of areas in Telangana in Dummugudem explosives Maoists case | Information

New Delhi: The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) on Monday carried out searches at 9 areas in 5 districts of Telangana in relation to the Dummugudem Explosives Maoists Case. In keeping with the investigation company, the searches had been held that Mahboob Nagar, Warangal, Jangaon, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Medchal on the premises of the accused individuals within the case.
The accused within the case have been recognized as Muthu Nagaraju, Kommarajula Kanukaiah, Gunji Vikram, Sura Saraiah, V Sathish, Vallepu Swamy and Trinadha Rao.
“The case was initially registered as FIR no. 17/2021 dated February 18 at Dummugudem police station in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem in opposition to eight accused individuals together with 4 Beneath Floor cadres of CPI, regarding seizure of explosive supplies together with 400 electrical detonators, 500 non-electric detonators, 400 Gelatin sticks and 549 metres of fuse wire from the possession of accused Muthu Nagaraju and Kommarajula Kanukaiah whereas they had been transporting it to Hidma alias Mangu, Commander of PLGA 1st Battalion of CPI (Maoist), in Chhattisgarh. 
NIA had re-registered the case as RC-02/2021/NIA/HYD dated Could 2 and brought up the investigation,” the NIA mentioned.
It mentioned that in the course of the searches carried out right this moment, the NIA seized steel plates and items, iron pipes and circles/cash/billas suspected for use for making IEDs and grenade launchers, varied incriminating paperwork and explosive substances together with slurry sticks and electrical detonator.
Additional investigation into the matter is underway.
