Realme just unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio dubbed 3i. It’s essentially the internals of the international Realme 3 (so MediaTek P60 rather than P70) paired with the Diamond-cut back finish of the Realme C2.
Up front, we have a 6.2-inch IPS HD+ display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 with a waterdrop notch design housing the 13MP selfie cam. Around the back, there’s a 13MP F/1.8 primary camera paired with a 2MP F/2.4 depth sensor.
The back also houses an LED flash and the fingerprint sensor. Realme’s diamond-cut texture provides a light refracting effect for a more unique design catered to younger consumers.
The Realme 3i is powered by the Helio P60 SoC featuring an octa-core CPU and either 3GB or 4GB RAM along with 32GB or 64GB storage. A microSD card slot enable further storage expansion.
The battery capacity is ample at 4,230 mAh but charging is limited to 10W and done over the dated microUSB port.
Software wise we have the familiar ColorOS 6 and Android 9 Pie combo found on past Realme devices.
The Realme 3i will come in Diamond Blue, Red and Black colors and is scheduled to go on sale in India starting July 23 exclusively on Flipkart. The baseline 3GB/32GB version will set buyers back INR 7,999 ($116) while INR 9,999 ($145) will get you the top spec’d 4/64GB unit. Availability and pricing for other markets is yet to be detailed.
