Shailendra Shukla President & Kasher Abdul Haq Chairman, nominated in Western Regional Electricity Committee

Raipur – Shri Shailendra Shukla was nominated the President of Western Regional Power Committee (WRPC) as per the instructions issued by the Ministry of Power of the Government of India. Along with this, the managing director (IAS), Mr. Mohammad Kaher Abdul Haq has been nominated for the chairperson of the Technical Coordination Committee (TCC), Power Distribution Hub Company. For the year 2019-20, the nominated President Mr. Shukla and MD Mr. Abdul Haque Pavar Companies will also work with the WRPC obligations for the next one year.

The largest committee in the Panchachial Regional Committees constituted to maintain the systematic all-electric system of the country is the Western Regional Electricity Committee. Under this, other major power ventures including Madhya Prachand, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman, Dive, Dadra, Nagar Haveli and Chhattisgarh are also included. Chattisgarh has achieved a respectable position in the field of power at the national level since the appointment of Shri Shukla’s WRPC Chairman. The two-day meeting of this committee is held in Bhopal on June 27 and 28. It will be chaired by Mr. Shukla.

WRPC On being nominated the President, Shri Shukla said that while staying in this position, Chhattisgarh will always remain active for the enrichment of the interests of the Parliaments in the matter of electricity related matters. It will be easy to keep the issues related to Chhattisgarh effectively in front of the Center. Although the WRPC’s Viral system, constituted by the big states of the country, is a challenging task to operate uninterrupted indisputability.

Upon Mr. Shukla, Chairman of WRPC and Mr. Haq was nominated as the Chairperson of TCC, the representatives of various employees of Power companies, representatives from various labor unions and many industrial institutions, congratulated and best wishes for the successful term.
