New Delhi: The earnings tax division has claimed to unearth unaccounted cash price Rs. 550 crore and seized unexplained money price Rs. 142.87 crore from a Hyderabad-based main pharma firm throughout a collection of raids performed on Wednesday (October 6).  
In an official assertion, the earnings tax division mentioned the pharmaceutical group is indulged within the making of intermediates, Lively Pharmaceutical Substances (APIs), and formulations. Most of those merchandise are exported to the USA, Europe, Dubai, and African international locations, the assertion added.

Although the division didn’t point out the title of the pharmaceutical group, media stories say the raid occurred at Hetero Medication, which is the primary pharmaceutical firm in India to launch the generic model of Remdesivir injection, Covifor, used within the remedy of Covid-19.
