This passion to win medals should be maintained – Sports Minister encouraged the Sports Minister of Water Sports Academy medal winners
Sports Minister reviews water sports activities Bhopal: Monday, February 22, 2021, 18:53 IST The Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare of the state, Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia reached the Water Sports Center at Badi Lake today where she won the medal of National Kayaking Canoeing Sprint Championship The winning players were praised for their great performance and gave them their appreciation. He reviewed the water sports activities in detail at a meeting of officials and water sports sailing, rowing and kayaking canoeing instructors here. Career Sports Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia won the medals of the 31st National Kayaking Canoeing Sprint (Boys and Girls Junior Sub Junior) Championship. While congratulating the winning players, he said that the players of Water Sports Academy have given Madhya Pradesh the most gold medals by performing very brilliantly. He encouraged the players to pursue a career in sports, citing the example of the academy’s star players Harshita Tomar, Ram Milan Yadav, Ritika Dangi, Uma Chauhan, etc., saying that this passion to win the medal in national and international competitions should be sustained. He asked the silver medal winning players to work more hard in the upcoming competitions and improve their game mode and try to convert silver medal into gold medal with their outstanding performance. The Sports Minister also held discussions with the Sailing and Rowing players regarding the preparation for the upcoming competitions and encouraged them to win medals by setting goals. Director Sports and Youth Welfare Mr. Pawan Jain, Joint Director Mr. B.S. Yadav and other officials, Mr. GL, the Chief Instructor of Water Sports Academy. Yadav, Capt Dalbir Singh, Capt Pijush Baroi, Mr Devendra Gupta, Mr Anil Sharma were present. Every possible effort for the career of the players, Sports Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia prepared for the upcoming national and international competitions in the meeting held at Water Sports Center. Seriously reviewed. He gave necessary guidelines to officials and sports coaches regarding the talent search and summer camp to be done for the entry of sportspersons in the academy. In the meeting, the Sports Minister obtained information about the performance of the players from all the coaches. He gave guidance to the sports coaches regarding improving the performance of the players. He said that every effort should be made for the career of the players. In the meeting, Sports Director Mr. Pawan Jain informed the Sports Minister about the departmental achievements.
