New Delhi: A video is doing rounds on the web for the previous few days displaying a number of males ingesting and brandishing rifles and firing within the air on a Ghaziabad highway. Within the 41-second video clip, a Toyota Fortuner is seen parked on a stretch of Indirapuram elevated highway whereas its occupants are consuming liquor, and dancing to music. Taking cognizance of the viral video, Ghaziabad police recognized the SUV’s proprietor by way of its registration quantity and arrested 5 folks. 

Raja Chowdhary, the proprietor of the automotive, was arrested on Sunday, and through questioning, he revealed the names of 4 others within the video, DCP, Trans Hindon, Deeksha Sharma informed reporters on Monday (February 6, 2023). 

Chowdhary owns two gymnasiums in Ghaziabad, she mentioned, including that two of the arrested — Santosh Thakur and Arun Chauhan — work as safety guards in his gyms and had been brandishing .315 bore rifles within the viral video.

The opposite two culprits have been recognized as Rohit Sethi and Akash Sirohi, the DCP mentioned.

Advice letters for cancellation of their arms licences have been despatched to Kannauj and Etawah districts from the place they had been issued, the DCP added.
