‘Will return to academia’: Ok V Subramanian steps down as Chief Financial Adviser

Chief Financial Adviser Ok V Subramanian Friday mentioned that he has determined to return to academia after completion of his three-year time period within the finance ministry.
Asserting his resolution to step down from the publish, he tweeted: “I’ve determined to return again to academia following the completion of my 3-year fulfilling tenure. Serving the nation has been an absolute privilege and I’ve fantastic assist and encouragement.”
The federal government had appointed Subramanian, an ISB Hyderabad professor, because the CEA in December 2018. He had succeeded Arvind Subramanian.

In a press release, Subramanian thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for his or her assist and galvanizing management.
“I’ve determined to return again to academia following the completion of my 3-year fulfilling tenure,” he mentioned.
