Winning teams of 31st National Canoe Sprint Championship, rewarded Madhya Pradesh’s team over All champions with 256 points

On joining the water sports, the person himself also becomes aware of water conservation. Minister Shri Bhadoria said that every citizen should come forward for conservation and promotion of water structures. Water is life, so water structures also get a boost. Sports is essential for health and disciplined life. For the all round development of children, they should also be associated with sports along with studies. The Cooperative Minister congratulated about 280 players and technical officials from 18 teams of 24 state and water sports institutions for participating in the competition. Teams from the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Punjab, Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Delhi, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Orissa and Haryana participated in the competition. In this competition held on February 20 to 22 at the small pond, competitions for junior and sub-junior boys / girls classes of 5 thousand, one thousand and 200 meters of kayaking / canoeing were held. Madhya Pradesh’s team became All Over Champion with 256 points in this competition. Madhya Pradesh’s team was the winner in the girls category with 141 points while Kerala’s team with 60 points was the runner-up. Madhya Pradesh’s team was the winner in the boys category with 115 points and Uttarakhand’s team with 96 points was the runner-up. On this occasion, Minister Shri Bhadaurya recalled former Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur and said that he has contributed a lot in the development of Bhopal. Today Bhopal is included in the most beautiful capitals. On this occasion, General Secretary of Indian Kayaking Canoeing Association, Mr. Prashant Kushwaha urged Minister Dr. Bhadauria that in the process of setting up a national level Parakayak Canoe Center at Gauri Sarovar of Bhind, the Government of India approved the work of the Center soon. Start early. Shri Bhadoria promised to start work soon by assuring all possible help. This competition was organized under the joint aegis of Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association and Madhya Pradesh Kayaking and Canoeing Association. On this occasion, General Secretary of Indian Kayaking Canoeing Association, Mr. Prashant Kushwaha, Executive Chairman, Mr. P.S. Bundela and other officers and employees were present.
