Bhopal, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 17:14 IST The quantity of Rs. 26.25 crore acquired as the primary installment of 10 hostels for the scheduled caste woman college students has been accredited by the academic empowerment of the Scheduled Caste woman college students within the state. Below the Babu Jagjivan Ram Hostel Scheme of the Central Authorities, hostels have been sanctioned in 10 districts. 26 crore 25 lakh has been sanctioned as the primary installment for them. These hostel buildings have been accredited by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Central Authorities. The Central Authorities has sanctioned 1750 seats for women hostels within the 12 months 2020-21. These seats have been accredited in Indore, Morena, Bhind, Ujjain, Chhatarpur, Agar-Malwa, Vidisha, Shajapur, Sehore and Dewas. Babu Jagjivan Ram Hostel Scheme is being operated by the Central Authorities with a view to offering hostel facility to scheduled caste kids and ladies learning in secondary colleges, greater secondary colleges, faculties and college. 52 crore 50 lakh has been sanctioned by the Central Authorities for this within the first part. With the approval of hostel of 1750 seats within the state, scheduled caste ladies will be capable to examine greater by benefiting from the hostel scheme. This hostel has been accredited by the efforts of Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Thawarchand Gehlot. Excellence Award Scheme for College students: The Scheduled Castes Welfare Division is operating the Excellence Award Scheme with a view to encourage glorious operation and association of hostels. Money prize, protect and quotation of Rs 10 thousand are being given to the in-charge and staff of the hostels who’ve attained one of the best place within the scheme. Yearly the hostel of chosen hostel is being awarded on the event of Republic Day.
