  • Woman Thrashed On Street: West Bengal To Have Sharia Law? BJP Questions TMC Over ‘Muslim Rashtra’ Remark |

The Opposition in West Bengal launched a scathing attack at the Trinamool Congress (TMC) over a video clip of an alleged assault on a couple. Referring to the incident as ‘concerning’, Bharatiya Janata Party State President Sukanta Majumdar suggested that it signals the TMC’s trajectory towards establishing what he termed a governance model akin to ‘sharia law’ in West Bengal.

The video clip shows the man beating a woman, who grimaced in pain. While a large crowd watched, the accused also struck a man with the stick. According to PTI, the attack followed a decision by a kangaroo court.

Referring to the incident as ‘concerning’, Majumdar in a post on ‘X’ wrote, “Statements from TMC’s Hamidul Rahaman referring to a ‘Muslim Rashtra’ and discussing punishments under ‘certain rules’ are deeply concerning. Is TMC declaring West Bengal a state where Sharia law will be applied?”

The man in the clip is identified as Tajmul alias “JCB,” who is a local TMC leader from Chopra in Uttar Dinajpur district and is beating the couple with bamboo sticks. According to PTI, the attack followed a decision by a kangaroo court.

However, Zee News English cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video.

After the clip went viral on social media, the West Bengal Police on Sunday registered a case over the incident and arrested Tajmul.

Denying TMC’s links with the alleged assaulter Tajmul, Chopra MLA Hamidur Rahman labelled the women’s activities as ‘unsocial.’ He said it was a village matter and not related to the party.

BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya shared the video on ‘X’ and said, “This is the ugly face of Mamata Banerjee’s rule in West Bengal. The guy in the video, who is beating up a woman mercilessly… is famous for giving quick justice through his ‘insaf’ sabha and is a close associate of Chopra MLA Hamidur Rahaman.”

Meanwhile, TMC district president Kaniyalal Agarwal attributed the incident to the couple’s supposed illicit relationship, which “was not well-received by the villagers.” He mentioned that the party would investigate the incident.

TMC spokesperson Shantanu Sen condemned the incident while also noting that similar instances of kangaroo courts were prevalent during the Left Front regime.

Evidence found in Godhra, Gujarat: The strings of this scam are being linked to new districts of Gujarat. After the allegations of cheating in Godhra, Gujarat police had arrested five people. These include Tushar Bhatt, Roy, Purushottam Sharma, education advisor Vibhor Anand and middleman Arif Vohra associated with school teachers. The first action took place 15 days ago in Godhra of Panchmahal district, but now names from Ahmedabad to Kheda-Anand are coming to the fore. CBI raids are being conducted in many districts. The way the mafia had managed everything at the centers in Patna, it seems that everything was set at a school in Godhra as well.

The CBI has been investigating the NEET exam scam in Gujarat for five days, but the investigation so far has made it clear that the scam that was caught in Godhra has links with many states. This is because some of the students who appeared for the exam in Godhra had come from far-flung states. The question is why was it necessary for these students to leave their states and give the exam at the Godhra centre by giving addresses of Godhra and Vadodara? Students from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, UP, Bihar had selected the Godhra centre.

Latur connection of paper leakSuch evidence of NEET scam has been found in Latur and entire Maharashtra which is enough to expose this entire scam. Brokers reached Latur, Beed and nearby districts. They took lakhs of rupees from children and their parents and then took them to Patna to get the exam done. This game was going on for years. NEET counselors were telling NTA with evidence that this big game is going on but NTA kept quiet. Agents were active from Latur to other cities who used to make children of Maharashtra take NEET exam in Patna or cities of Karnataka. First understand the level of the scam. Patna is 2000 km from Latur. Children of Latur choose Patna as the exam center because they get good marks by paying money here.

  • Want To Safeguard Your Gadgets This Monsoon? 5 Essential Tips You Need To Know |

New Delhi: During the rainy season it’s crucial to shield your gadgets from potential water damage. With unexpected downpours your electronic devices are at risk of getting wet which can lead to costly repairs or replacements.

Today, we’re diving into five effective methods to waterproof your gadgets during the monsoon season. Whether you’re commuting, working outdoors, or simply caught in a sudden downpour these tips will help you keep your devices safe from moisture and potential malfunctions. (Also Read: Snowblind Malware Explained: Know How It Steals Bank Data From Android Devices)

Here are tips to waterproof your gadgets during the monsoon season:

    1) Use Waterproof Cases or Covers: Investing in waterproof cases or covers is an effective way to shield your gadgets from rain and moisture. These cases are designed to fit snugly around your devices, creating a protective barrier that prevents water from seeping in. Look for cases that offer a high level of waterproofing, often indicated by IP (Ingress Protection) ratings. These ratings specify the level of protection against water and dust with higher numbers indicating greater resistance. Waterproof covers for smartphones, tablets, and even laptops are widely available and can provide peace of mind when using your gadgets outdoors during rainy weather. 2) Apply Water-Resistant Spray: Applying water-resistant coatings or sprays to your gadgets adds an extra layer of protection against moisture. These coatings create a hydrophobic barrier on the surface of your devices, causing water to bead up and roll off rather than soaking into the electronics. Many electronics stores sell water-resistant sprays specifically formulated for gadgets like smartphones and tablets.

    3) Keep Gadgets in Waterproof Bags: When venturing outdoors during the monsoon season especially if you anticipate heavy rain then consider using waterproof bags or pouches to store your gadgets. These bags are designed to be fully waterproof and often feature sealed seams and durable materials that keep water out. Waterproof bags come in various sizes and styles, from small pouches for smartphones to larger backpacks for laptops and tablets.

    4) Avoid Direct Exposure to Rain: Whenever possible, avoid exposing your gadgets directly to rain. If you’re outdoors and it starts to rain, seek shelter under an umbrella, awning, or any other protective cover. Even a brief exposure to rain can potentially damage sensitive electronic components, leading to malfunctions or costly repairs. If you must use your gadgets in wet conditions try to position yourself in a way that minimises direct exposure to raindrops.

5)Dry Gadgets Immediately if They Get Wet: Despite precautions if your gadgets do get wet during the monsoon season it’s crucial to dry them off promptly. Use a soft, absorbent cloth to gently wipe away any moisture on the surface of the devices. Avoid using heat sources such as hair dryers or heaters, as excessive heat can damage electronics. Instead, allow your gadgets to air dry naturally in a cool, dry area with good ventilation.

  • INDIA Bloc To Protest ‘Misuse’ Of Probe Agencies In Parliament Today |

New Delhi: After the INDIA bloc’s power display in the parliament last week over the NEET debate issue that prompted ruckus and later adjournment of the house, the Opposition is set to hold a demonstration against the central government over the alleged misuse of central agencies and the medical entrance exam ‘irregularities’ today.

At a press conference on Sunday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh announced that the alliance parties have decided to protest the central government.

“The parties of the INDIA bloc had unanimously decided that we will protest against the misuse of ED and CBI in the Parliament premises tomorrow at 10.30 am,” Singh stated, during a press conference at the AAP headquarters in Delhi on Sunday.

“This is a clear abuse of investigative agencies,” he remarked, noting that both the ED and CBI lack evidence against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his former deputy Manish Sisodia.

AAP leader added that the CBI has arrested Kejriwal on the instructions of the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On July 29, the Delhi Court ordered CM Kejriwal to be held in judicial custody until July 12 as part of the ongoing investigation into the excise policy case.

In response, the AAP held a protest on June 29 against the court’s decision. The demonstration took place in front of the BJP office in Delhi, drawing several AAP leaders and legislators.

Kejriwal had been arrested by the ED on March 21 this year.
