  • CG NEWS: CMHO takes strict action on absence of doctors in health center, issues notice to four doctors

    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. CMHO has issued notice to four doctors who were absent from Ratanpur Community Health Center (CSC). During investigation, four doctors were found absent from Ratanpur Community Health Center on 31st August. Whereas these days malaria and diarrhea outbreak has spread in Ratanpur area. It is being told that the complaint of the matter has reached the top officials.

    There is an outbreak of malaria and diarrhea in Ratanpur area. A large number of victims are reaching the community health center for treatment. When the team reached to investigate the complaint, four doctors of the community health center were absent from their duty. The CMHO has issued them a show cause notice, which includes gynecologist Dr. Sheela Shaha, Dr. Nehal Jha, ophthalmologist Dr. M.L. Koram, anesthesia Nidhi Koram. Local people have strongly objected to the negligence of the health department. People say that the field staff of the health department is not working properly in Ratanpur area, due to which deaths are constantly occurring here due to malaria and diarrhea.

  • DoT Advises M2M Service Providers To Register On Saral Sanchar Portal By September 30 To Avoid Disruption |

    New Delhi: Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has urged all unregistered M2M Service Providers (M2M SPs) and WPAN/WLAN Connectivity Providers for M2M Services, to register with DoT immediately and latest by September 30, 2024, to avoid disruption of their M2M services.  Non-compliance may lead to withdrawal or disconnection of telecom resources obtained from the Authorized Telecom Licensees. 

    The extended timeline for registration of all unregistered entities, who have obtained telecom resources from authorized telecom licensees in the past, ends on September 30, 2024. 

    The Department had issued detailed guidelines for registration of all M2M Service Providers (M2M SPs) and WPAN/WLAN Connectivity Providers for M2M Services in February 2022, after considering the recommendations of TRAI and views of M2M industry stakeholders. The registration is a simple and transparent online one-time process through the SaralSanchar portal (https://saralsanchar.gov.in/).

    Subsequently, in order to proliferate the standard-based and secure M2M/IoT ecosystem, the scope of the registration was extended to allow all types of business

    Entities such as companies, Government Departments/Organizations, Partnership Firms, LLPs, Institutions, Undertakings, Proprietorship Firms, Societies and Trusts to apply for registration as M2M Service Providers and WPAN/WLAN Connectivity Provider for M2M services.

    The DoT is committed to build a secure and innovative M2M/IoT landscape in the country. National Digital Communication Policy-2018 aims at creating a robust digital communication infrastructure, enable next generation technologies and ensure a holistic and harmonized approach for harnessing Emerging Technologies such as M2M/loT.

He won the first gold medal in the World Para Athletics Championship. In 2018, Sundar Gurjar won a silver and a bronze medal in the Asian Games. He also won a gold medal in the 2019 World Para Athletics Championship. Then in 2021, he won a bronze medal in the China Para Asian Games and last year he created a world record by throwing 68.60 meters in the Asian Para Games and won the gold medal. Apart from this, he has also won bronze in Tokyo 2020 with an effort of 64.01 meters.

  • Collector Rahul Dev held a meeting regarding the situation of diarrhea, reprimanded the officials, gave strict instructions to control the impact

    Rohit Kashyap, Mungeli. Collector Rahul Dev held a meeting with the health department officials to control the impact of diarrhea in the district. In this meeting, he reviewed the prevention and effective measures of diarrhea and gave necessary guidelines. The collector said that the rural health staff should work with full readiness and immediately provide information about patients suffering from diarrhea anywhere in the villages to the health center and the district administration, so that better treatment can be provided to them by sending a medical team.

    During the meeting, the collector reviewed in detail the reasons for the spread of diarrhea in Dullapur and other villages and reprimanded the concerned officials. He constituted a team to investigate the cases of death of patients suffering from diarrhea and directed to submit the report within 48 hours. He also warned of strict action if any kind of negligence is found.

    Instructions given to PHE department

    The collector directed the EE of the PHE department to get the water sources tested regularly so that the supply of clean water can be ensured. The CMOs of urban bodies, CEOs of Janpad Panchayat, medical officers, Mitanins and Swachhata Didis were instructed to work with full vigilance and promptness to prevent the impact of diarrhea. The SDM was also asked to hold regular meetings of medical officers and make a better action plan for the prevention of diarrhea.

    The collector inquired from the district hospital officials about the facilities and other arrangements available in the hospital. He discussed in detail about the timely arrival of doctors, keeping the ICU up-to-date, strengthening HR management, on-call presence of doctors and redressal of patients’ problems. He instructed the doctors and staff of the district hospital to wear uniforms and asked them to ensure delivery of pregnant women primarily in the district hospital.

    District Program Manager Girish Kurre said that health checkups, distribution of medicines, and awareness campaigns are being conducted in diarrhea-affected villages for prevention. Mitanins and RHOs go door-to-door to spread awareness and in case of complaints of diarrhea, one can contact 9406275514 for treatment.

    PM Modi In Singapore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Thursday to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two nations. Modi is on a two-day visit to Singapore at Wong’s invitation.

    Before their official talks, PM Modi received a ceremonial welcome at the Singapore Parliament House and signed the visitor’s book. The meeting holds significance as it marks the first interaction between the two leaders since Wong took office as Singapore’s premier and Modi began his third term as India’s prime minister.     Ahead of the talks with Wong, Modi received a red carpet-welcome at the Singapore Parliament House. He also signed the visitor’s book there. “A new chapter in – ties: Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established. PM @narendramodi and PM @LawrenceWongST held a productive meeting in Singapore today,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X after the meeting.

    “The leaders agreed to elevate the – ties to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They extensively reviewed various facets of the bilateral relationship covering areas of Advanced Manufacturing, Connectivity, Digitalisation, Healthcare & Medicine, Skills Development and Sustainability,” he said. The meeting between the two leaders comes days after Wong took over and Modi began his third term as prime minister. 

    Later in the day, PM Modi will meet President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. Several agreements are expected to be signed between India and Singapore, covering areas like digital technologies, healthcare, education, skills development, and semiconductor collaboration.

    Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma will hold a review meeting of Bilaspur Range of Police Department during his visit to Bilaspur today. Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail Department of Chhattisgarh Government, Director General of Police, Secretary of Home Department, Inspector General of Police of Bilaspur Range and Superintendents of Police of districts of Bilaspur Range will be present in this meeting.

Important works done by Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police will be reviewed.

    Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has extended the date for filling the examination form for self-study students appearing in High School and Higher Secondary Board Examination. Self-study students can fill the form from 9th September to 25th September with special late fee.

    Instagram New Feature: Instagram has rolled out a new comment feature for stories. Now, users will be able to leave comments on Instagram Stories that will be publicly visible to all viewers for 24 hours. However, it is unclear if users will be able to archive them. 

    Apart from this, the meta-owned platform has also launched new fonts and text animations along with an Instagram Creator Lab in India with support for English and Hindi. Prior to a new comment feature for stories, Instagram allowed users to reply to stories, but they were sent privately to the uploader.  

    Earlier, according to the social media platform’s head, Adam Mosseri revealed that Instagram will prioritise short-form content over long videos, citing better connection with others.

  • Negligence proved costly! The collector suspended the superintendent of the tribal boys’ ashram, students had made serious allegations

    Gaurav Jain, Gaurela Pendra Marwahi. Collector Leena Mandavi has suspended Rati Lal Bhanu, the superintendent of the tribal boys’ ashram located in the Newari development block of the district, on charges of negligence in his duties and creating disorder in the ashram.

    It is alleged that the superintendent used to remain absent from the ashram without any prior information, due to which the children living there were not able to get food on time. Apart from this, the children also complained that the superintendent was often drunk during duty. In view of these serious allegations, the collector took immediate action and suspended Rati Lal Bhanu under Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rule 9.
