  • Spam Calls: 50 Entities Blacklisted, 2.75 Lakhs Mobile Numbers Disconnected |

New Delhi: Amidst the significant rise in spam calls, telecom operators have blacklisted over 50 entities and disconnected more than 2.75 lakh SIP DID/Mobile Numbers/Telecom resources as per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI’s) directives.

TRAI said that it has observed a significant rise in spam calls, with over more than 7.9 lakh complaints reported against Unregistered Telemarketers (UTMs) in the first half of the year 2024 (January to June).

Taking this issue seriously, TRAI had issued stringent directives to all Access Providers on 13th August 2024. It has mandated Access Providers to immediately stop promotional voice calls from unregistered senders or telemarketers using SIP, PRI, or other telecom resources. Any UTM found to be misusing these resources will face severe consequences, including disconnection of all telecom resources for up to two years and blacklisting.

“Consequent of these directions, Access Providers have taken stern measures against misuse of telecom resources for spamming and blacklisted over 50 entities and disconnected more than 2.75 lakh SIP DID/Mobile Numbers/Telecom resources. These steps are expected to have a significant impact on reducing spam calls and providing relief to consumers. TRAI urges all stakeholders to comply with the directives and contribute to a cleaner and more efficient telecom ecosystem,” said the telecom regulator.

  • Why does Yuvraj’s father hate MS Dhoni? Know the three big reasons…

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh played for Team India for a long time. Yuvraj was the hero of T20 World Cup 2007 and ODI World Cup 2011. India won both these World Cups under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. There was a good bonding between the two on the field, but Yuvraj’s father feels that Dhoni never supported Yuvraj, on the contrary, he was dropped from the team.

Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh remains in controversies due to his outspoken statements. There is always one person who is his target. That is former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Yograj Singh has recently targeted MS Dhoni once again. In an interview, he publicly criticized Dhoni. Here it is important for you to know why Yograj Singh is often upset with Dhoni. Before understanding this, you should know his latest statement, which is given below.

Yograj Singh slammed MS Dhoni in his latest statement. Yograj said- “I will not forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a great cricketer, but what he has done to my son is now coming to light. This can never be forgiven in life.

In the interview, Yograj Singh further says that ‘I have never done two things in life – first, I have never forgiven anyone who has done wrong to me and second, I have never hugged them in my life, whether they are my family members or my children.’

Why does Yograj Singh hate MS Dhoni? The first reason

Yograj Singh feels that MS Dhoni played a major role in ruining his son Yuvraj Singh’s international career. Yograj always accuses Dhoni of not giving enough opportunities to Yuvraj and not supporting him. This affected Yuvraj’s performance.

    Second reason

Yograj Singh is also upset with Dhoni because he feels that Dhoni was behind Yuvraj being left out of the team in the ODI World Cup 2025. Yograj often blames Dhoni for Yuvraj not getting a place. He has been claiming that his son was unfairly kept out despite being in good form.

    Third reason

Yograj Singh feels that Dhoni has marketed himself. He never supported other players including Yuvraj Singh. This personal resentment has fuelled Yograj’s statements against Dhoni. If you listen to Yograj’s statements carefully, it seems that he considers Dhoni his enemy.
