Raipur. The second installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana will be released today in the accounts of 70 lakh women across the state. The officials of the Women and Child Development Department have made almost complete preparations for this. Let us tell you that earlier the amount of the second installment was to come on April 1 but due to the financial year, the date was changed. Due to which the amount has not been sent to the women’s account.
PM Narendra Modi had launched Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state on March 10. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Rs 636.44 crore was paid into the accounts of 68.53 lakh women of Chhattisgarh as the first installment. Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, one thousand rupees per month will be transferred to the women of the state through DBT.
