Raipur News: 25,70,400 check given to builder after registration bounced, FIR registered

Raipur News: Raipur. On the report of builder Sushilchandra Pagaria, Civil Lines Police has registered a crime under Section 420 against a land buyer on charges of fraud. The matter is being investigated by filing an FIR on the orders of the court.

Raipur Police said that on the orders of the court, on behalf of Tagorenagar resident Sushil Chandra Pagaria and his son Shreyans Pagaria, accused Sonu Yadav, resident of Dangania, has been made an accused. The 26-year-old accused had purchased the land located at Mandir Hasaud, owned by both the applicants, for Rs 25 lakh 70 thousand 4 hundred on April 4, 2019 and had given five checks of Bank of Baroda dated June 10, 2019. In the affidavit executed by the non-applicant, it was stated that if the money orders mentioned above are not encashed on the proposed date, then the said sale deed will become cancelled, ineffective and void. Whereas when the check was deposited on June 16, it was bounced by the said bank with a note that the signature was different.

After giving this information, the accused was asked to pay the amount within 15 days. A complaint letter was also given to the police. But when no legal notice was received within the stipulated time, a complaint was filed, which is still pending. A temporary injunction order was also passed banning the transfer of the disputed land. After sending information about the temporary injunction order to the Registration and Patwari office, it was received that the said land had already been sold by the non-applicant on 4 February 2020 to Bharat Kumar Nishad and Anjani Kumar Singh, declaring it free from any dispute.

Police said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and detailed investigation is being done.
