Let us tell you that Goldie Brar’s name was in the news in the media after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. However, even before that he had committed many crimes. It started in 2020 after the murder of cousin Gurlal Brar in Chandigarh. Panjab University (PU) student leader Gurlal Brar was shot dead on the night of 11 October 2020 outside a club located in Industrial Area Phase-1, Chandigarh.
Gurlal Brar was closest to Lawrence Bishnoi. After the murder of Gurlal, Lawrence Gang had announced the beginning of a new war on social media. He had gone to Canada to study on a study visa and plunged into the world of crime after this massacre.
Goldie started plotting murders from Canada and got many incidents carried out by his henchmen. One of these was the shooting death of District Youth Congress President Gurlal Singh in Faridkot, Punjab on 18 February 2021. Goldie Brar had killed the Youth Congress leader to avenge Gurlal’s murder.
Moosewala was murdered in May 2022
On 29 May 2022, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead near Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab. Goldie Brar had taken responsibility for this murder. According to Goldie, the people involved in the murder of Middukheda in Mohali were given shelter by the manager of Moosewala. Later Moosewala helped his manager. For this reason, Lawrence Gang killed Moosewala.
