Raipur. The election of Chhattisgarh Sarafa Association will be held on 23 June at Pujari Park (Manas Bhawan) in Raipur. Assistant Election Officer Prakash Golchha said that as part of the election process, the preliminary voter list will be published on 28 May. After this, written applications for correction of errors in the voter list will be taken on letter pad till June 1. The voter list fee has been kept at Rs 100. Sources say that this election of Chhattisgarh Sarafa Association is considered certain. Right now, in this election of Sarafa Association, the Sarafa world seems to be divided into three different factions. As of now, the group of Sarafa traders from Raipur and Bilaspur is ready to contest the election. Sources say that although till the end efforts will be made to ensure that this election of Chhattisgarh Sarafa is held unopposed, but due to the resentment among the Sarafa traders, this does not seem to be possible.
Nomination papers will be available from June 5
Nomination papers can be taken from 5th to 7th June from 12 noon to 5 pm. Also, the last date for submitting nomination papers is 5th to 8th June. The list of candidates will be published after scrutiny of nomination papers on 10th June. After this, the time for withdrawal of nomination papers is till 5 pm on 11th June. The final list will be published on 12th June at 12 noon. After this, election symbols will also be allotted to the candidates on 13th June.
Rajdeep of the state will represent India in Paris Olympic Games
The Indian Jump Rope Federation of India has announced the players to participate in the Summer Olympics 2024 to be held in Paris. The name of Chhattisgarh player Rajdeep Singh Hargotra is also included in this. Rajdeep Singh will be an authorized player for Jump Rope of India to participate in the Double Dutch group in the Paris Summer Olympic Games. Earlier also, Rajdeep has represented Chhattisgarh and India in national and international competitions. Jump Rope Association Chhattisgarh has congratulated Rajdeep Singh on being selected in the Indian Run Team and wished him all the best for the future.

On World No Tobacco Day, Mahakoshal Kala Parishad is organizing an art exhibition titled ‘Addiction in life, punishment of death’ at Mahakoshal Kala Vithika. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 31st May, which will be open for visitors from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday and from 9 to 11 am on Sunday. Around 28 creations of senior, youth, child and women artists of the state will be displayed in the art exhibition.
