Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will visit Kabirdham district today. As per the scheduled time, CM will leave for Kabirdham at 12.30 pm. Where he will attend a private program at Kukdur in village Semhara. After that he will attend Shrimad Bhagwad Katha Gyan Yagna in Baijalpur. After that the Chief Minister will return to CM residence at 7.30 pm.

Yellow alert issued for heat wave

Today is the sixth day of Nautapa. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh is experiencing record-breaking heat. Yesterday, the temperature in the capital Raipur reached 45.5 degrees. The hottest place was Raigarh with 46.7 degrees and Balrampur with 45.6 degrees. There is no possibility of any significant change in temperature till May 31. There is a possibility of rain between May 31 and June 2. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heatwave today. Heatwave will prevail in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg divisions.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of warm night conditions in one or two pockets in Surguja, Jashpur, Janjgir, Sakti, Raigarh, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Raipur, Balodabazar-Bhantapara and Mahasamund districts of the state.

Delay in operation of Ready to Eat, no implementation even after 4 months of announcement

It may take time for the women’s groups to operate Ready to Eat. Even after 4 months of the announcement in the assembly, implementation has not taken place. The operation of Ready to Eat is not being handed over to women’s groups. The situation on the study team is also not clear yet. The seeds are being supplied through the Seed Corporation. It is likely to take another 4-5 months. Earlier, women’s self-help groups used to operate Ready to Eat.

Application for admission to BASLP course begins

The application process for admission in Bachelor of Audiology Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) run under the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases (ENT) of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Paediatric College has started. Candidates can apply till June 27. They will be given a chance to apply till June 29 with a late fee of Rs 100. Application forms and guidelines for admission in BASLP have been released on www.raipurbaslp.org. The merit list of the candidates will be uploaded on the website on July 4. Candidates will be given time till July 10 for claims and objections in the merit list. After this, the final selection list will be released on July 12. Counseling will start from July 15.

The fee for applying for the course is Rs 600 for general category and Rs 350 for SC, ST and OBC. The fee must be paid through demand draft in the name of BASLP Course Pt. JNM COLLEGE, MEDICAL RAIPUR (CG). The application form can be submitted to Room No. 244, Department of ENT Audiology and Speech Therapy Unit, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Smriti Chikitsalaya, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) through speed post/courier during office hours from 9 am to 1:30 pm.
