Chhattisgarh: NIA raids half a dozen places, 2 arrested with mobile, cash and objectionable documents, the case is related to Maoists

Sushil Salam, Kanker. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a raid in Kanker district late last night. The NIA team raided half a dozen places and conducted a thorough search. During this, the NIA arrested two people. Mobiles, printers, cash and objectionable documents have also been recovered. This entire matter is related to the Naxal case.

According to the information, the NIA conducted searches at several places in the Naxal-affected area of ​​Chhattisgarh on Friday night in connection with the arrest of Maoists and recovery of weapons. During this, several mobile phones, a printer and incriminating documents along with cash worth Rs 39,100 were seized by searching half a dozen places in the remote villages of Kanker district, Mujalgondi, Kalmuche, Amabeda and Jiwalmari.

The NIA is continuing the investigation into the case, which was registered by the local police on February 5, 2024 and taken over by the NIA on February 22. Preliminary investigation led to the arrest of two persons in the case.
