In the post-mortem, marks of assault were found on the woman’s body, after which the Supela police have registered a crime under section 306 in the case.

Recently, he came to live on rent in Laxminagar, Supela from the residence in Priyadarshini Complex, claiming his live-in partner to be his wife, while the first wife of the BSF jawan lives in Kolkata with her five children. Pinky Singh was also living with Santosh Singh after divorcing her husband.
