Raipur. Former IAS Anil Tuteja, accused in the liquor scam case, was presented in Meerut court by UP police. Let us tell you that the police has brought accused Anil Tuteja to UP on a transit warrant in the case of making fake holograms. After presenting him in the court, he will be brought back to Raipur Central Jail and handed over to him.
Let us tell you that UP Police had applied for Anil Tuteja’s production warrant, which was approved by the court. A crime has also been registered against Anil Tuteja in Uttar Pradesh for making fake holograms. Earlier, UP Police has arrested Anwar Dhebar and former Special Secretary Arunpati Tripathi in the case.
Know what is hologram case
In July 2023, the ED deputy director had lodged an FIR at the Kasna police station in Noida in the fake hologram case. On May 3, the UP STF arrested Vidhu Gupta, owner of Prism Holography Security Films Pvt Ltd. During interrogation, Gupta had named Anwar and Arunpati.
Allegations and irregularities
According to the FIR, the Excise Department of Chhattisgarh illegally awarded the tender to Prism Holography Security Films Pvt Ltd. The tender conditions were modified in connivance with the owners of the company and the tender was illegally allotted. In return, commission was taken and duplicate holograms were supplied to the Chhattisgarh active gang.
