The incident took place in village Gidhpuri under the remote Baya Chowki area of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. Chowki in-charge Neeraj Dubey said that Sanjay Bhoi, a resident of Gidhpuri, had a dispute with his uncle Sharad Bhoi over land division, on which the accused attacked his uncle with a tangi. Meanwhile, when the uncle’s daughter-in-law Tulsi Bhoi, who would be the accused’s sister-in-law, came forward, he attacked her too. The accused did not stop here but also attacked and injured the sister-in-law’s mother.
On receiving the information of the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and started looking for the accused, but by then he had fled from the spot and is being searched for. The injured were immediately taken to Pithora Health Center, where after first aid, they were referred to Raipur due to their critical condition. The police have registered a crime in the case and are searching for the accused.
