Senior BJP MLA and former minister Brijmohan Aggarwal has launched a scathing attack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s launch of a crowd funding campaign in the name of ‘Donate for the country’. He has also called this a campaign of looting policy of Congress. Brijmohan Aggarwal said that in this campaign of Congress, donations will be collected from workers and countrymen. Congress leaders are calling it inspired by the Tilak Swaraj Fund of 1921, whereas the amount donated by Tilak Swaraj Fund was used to fight the British rule.
Brijmohan Aggarwal said that by linking this campaign of collecting funds for the party in the name of the country with Tilak Swaraj Fund, Congress has shown its disgusting political mentality. Congressmen have absolutely no right to insult Lokmanya Tilak and his Swaraj campaign.
He said that the aim of Congress has always been that money should come at some cost. After filling the coffers of Congress by looting Chhattisgarh, Congress is now using Karnataka as its ATM. After this, Congress is going to implement the same policy of plunder and plunder in Telangana also. The Congress which has corruption in its DNA, has no shortage of money. The recovery of crores of rupees of black money from the house of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu has made it clear how much loot the Congress leaders had committed while in power! Brijmohan Aggarwal said that after Congress’s defeat in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan after scams worth thousands of crores of rupees, commission embezzlement and looting of government treasury, the ATM of the central leadership of Congress has been closed and Congress is hungry and worried about money.
