Ambati Rayudu enters politics from cricket pitch, takes membership of YSRCP in presence of CM Reddy

Former star cricketer of the Indian team, Ambati Rayudu has now stepped onto the political field after cricket. He joined YSR Congress Party on Thursday. Rayudu took membership of the party in the presence of YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy. 37-year-old Rayudu had retired from all formats of cricket after winning IPL 2023.

Rayudu (Ambati Rayudu) last played in the IPL for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He has also played for Mumbai Indians (MI). Let us tell you that before this, Rayudu had met CM Jagan Mohan Reddy in June this year. Jagan wanted Rayudu to contest the next elections. However, it is not decided at the moment from where he will contest the elections.

According to the information, in case of contesting elections, he can be made a candidate from Machilipatnam. However, no confirmation has been given by the party on this yet.
