Raipur. The prize distribution ceremony of the 40th National Archery Competition organized by Chhattisgarh State Archery Association was held at Rajyotsav Ground, Science College, Raipur. On this occasion, under the chief hospitality of Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan, prizes were distributed to the winning players of compound archery. During this, many big leaders including Union Tribal Affairs and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister and President of Indian Archery Association Arjun Munda, School Education and Higher Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma, MLA Moti Lal Sahu, etc. Were present.

He said that there is special mention of archery in the texts Mahabharata and Ramayana. He mentioned the dialogue between Arjuna and Guru Dronacharya described in the Mahabharata text, in which Arjuna was taught how to hit the target while keeping an eye on it. There was no archer like Lord Ram. The Governor said that the country has achieved many remarkable achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Through his address on the stage, Union Minister Arjun Munda said that the archers of our country have increased the pride of the country. People’s inclination towards archery is increasing and players are also being encouraged by the government, India will become developed in the field of sports by the year 2047.
