    Weather Forecast Delhi: The Meteorological Department expressed the possibility of cloudy sky and heavy rain in Delhi on Monday.

    Delhi Weather Update: After rain and cold winds in the national capital on Sunday, the temperature dropped by five degrees. Yesterday the maximum temperature was 28.3 degrees Celsius and the weather was pleasant. The minimum temperature recorded in the national capital was 23.5 degrees, which is two degrees less than the average. Along with this, the air quality in Delhi also improved due to continuous rains in the capital.

    Air quality index of last 24 hours is the best in a year

    According to the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), this year’s best air quality was recorded in Delhi on Sunday. The air quality index reading of the last 24 hours in Delhi was 45, which falls in the ‘good’ category. Let us tell you that AQI between zero to 50 is considered ‘good’, between 51 and 100 is ‘satisfactory’, between 101 and 200 is considered ‘good’. ‘Moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘bad’, 301 to 400 ‘very bad’ and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.

    Humidity in the capital yesterday was between 86 and 100 percent.

    Safdarjung Observatory recorded 1.3 mm rainfall from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. During this period, observatories in Palam, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar, Narela and Gurgaon recorded 0.2 mm, 0.8 mm, 3 mm, 1.5 mm and 7.5 mm rainfall respectively. Humidity in the national capital was 86 and 100 percent respectively. Stayed in the middle.

    Municipal Corporation received complaint about waterlogging and uprooting of trees.

    Delhi Municipal Corporation received reports of waterlogging from five places and uprooted trees from 16 places. The Public Works Department received a call about waterlogging from Mundka and Narela. The Disaster Management Center of New Delhi Municipal Council has received 70 complaints in the last two days. Of them, 26 were found late Saturday evening while the rest came by 11 am on Sunday. These issues were related to minor cases of waterlogging, leaves falling from trees, non-functioning of street lighting, on which prompt action was taken.

    Water removed with the help of machine from waterlogged places

    Officials said that incidents of waterlogging at important places including Janpath, Sikandra Road, C Hexagon, Copernicus Marg, Barakhamba Road, Harishchandra Mathur Lane and Kautilya Marg were resolved quickly. At waterlogged places, water was removed with the help of workers or machines. The G20 venue and the stay hotel for foreign delegates fall in the New Delhi Municipal Council area.

    Meteorological Department expressed fear of cloudy sky and more rain

    The Meteorological Department expressed the possibility of cloudy sky and more rain in Delhi today i.e. on Monday. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has said that the maximum and minimum temperatures in the city on Monday are expected to be around 30 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively. At the same time, the air quality index is expected to be in the ‘satisfactory category’ (between 51 to 100) from Monday to Wednesday.
