Pakistan team announced for World Cup 2023, this big star is out, Hasan Ali returns

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Has announced the team for the One Day Cricket World Cup 2023 to be held in India on Friday. There are names of many top players in the team, but some have also been left out. Fast bowler Naseem Shah, who was injured during the recently concluded Asia Cup, is not a part of Pakistan’s Cricket World Cup team. But experienced fast bowler Hasan Ali has returned to the Cricket World Cup team. Babar Azam Will lead the Pakistan cricket team in the Cricket World Cup while Shadab Khan will be his deputy.

Naseem Shah will undergo surgery

Chief selector Inzamam Ul Haq said that Hasan has been recalled due to injury to Naseem Shah. 20 year old Naseem suffered a shoulder injury during the match against India in the Asia Cup. He has been advised to undergo surgery and is expected to recover in three to four months. Inzamam also announced three traveling reserves for the World Cup to help Babar Azam’s team. In which the names of wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Haris, mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed and fast bowler Zaman Khan are included.

Naseem Shah out due to injury

In a release issued by the PCB, Inzamam said, ‘Due to the unfortunate injury to Naseem Shah, we were forced to make a change. We had a few injury scares in the recent Asia Cup, but I am happy to say that all the players are fully fit and are extremely keen to perform brilliantly for their country in this all-important tournament.

Inzamam has full confidence in the team

Inzamam said that I have received an encouraging report from our medical panel about Haris Rauf. He has started bowling at the National Cricket Academy and will be available for selection. I strongly believe that this team can bring the World Cup trophy to Pakistan and make the entire country proud with its incredible performance.

Pakistan’s first match on 6th October

Inzamam further said that now is the time for us to support our team and provide them the support they need. Let us tell you that before the opening of the tournament against Netherlands on October 6, Pakistan will play two practice matches against New Zealand on September 29 and Australia on October 3.
