Good news for the employees of Chhattisgarh, Minister OP Chaudhary asked for the file of pending arrears and dearness allowance.

Satya Rajput, Raipur. The government now seems to be back on track on the pending demands of the employees of Chhattisgarh. Today, a delegation of the Ministerial Employees Union under the leadership of President Mahendra Singh Rajput met Finance Minister OP Choudhary in the Ministry regarding the demand for payment of pending arrears and dearness allowance. The union presented its two demands in detail before the Finance Minister.

The union said that for the past years the previous government cheated the employees and the employees had to struggle to protect their interests. Now there are expectations from the employee friendly government. The commitment of the previous BJP government was not fulfilled by the previous government, the union requested Minister OP Chaudhary to pre-release the payment of the last sixth installment of the seventh pay scale and 4% dearness allowance from July 2023 on the occasion of Ramlala Pran Pratistha on January 22.

President Mahendra Rajput said that on this the Finance Minister immediately directed the Secretary Finance to bring the file before him to fulfill the demand of arrears. Assured to discuss dearness allowance with the Chief Minister soon. He happily thanked all the members of the delegation for their prompt action. It is noteworthy that in fulfilling the above demand, the government will have to incur a financial burden of about Rs 150 crore, which will benefit the employees of the entire state.

With the quick announcement of Minister OP Chaudhary in front of the Ministry Employees Union, the hopes of the employees for better days have started increasing. However, the path seems to be paved for the employees to get dearness allowance by 26th January.
