However, many top opposition leaders have not been invited to the dinner. These include Congress President and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge. Responding to Kharge on the Centre’s ignoring him, Baghel said, ‘It is unfortunate. They should respect the opposition in democracy. It is an attack on democracy that he was not invited to the dinner.
