Sift Kaur has won the gold medal in the Asian Games 2023 by setting a world record in 50 meter rifle 3 positions. Sifat Kaur scored 469.6 and with this she has created a Games record, Asian Games record and a world record in the same competition.
10 meter air pistol (Arjun Cheema, Sarabjot Singh, Shiv Narwal): Gold Medal
Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiv Narwal won gold for the country in the men’s 10 meter air pistol team event. The Indian trio won this medal by defeating China in a tough competition. India’s men’s 10 meter air pistol team won the gold medal in the Asian Games on Thursday.
Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh, Rhythm Sangwan (25m pistol team event): Gold
The trio of Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan won the gold medal in the women’s 25 meter pistol team event of the Asian Games here on Wednesday. The team of Manu, Isha and Rhythm stood on top with a total of 1759 points, making India successful in winning its fourth gold medal in the ongoing Games.
