Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. A tragic incident has taken place in the district. Two farmers have died after being struck by lightning in two different villages of Balod police station area. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Balod police reached the spot and after conducting Panchnama proceedings, sent the bodies for post-mortem.
According to the information received, the first case is from Semarkona village. Where a person Sukalal father Kawal Singh age 45 years sitting near a peepal tree was struck by lightning. Due to which he died. The second case is from Limora village of Balod police station area. Where farmer Dharmu Sahu was working in the field. During that time, he died due to being struck by lightning. Also, his mobile also got damaged.
