Amid the torrential rains, a pregnant woman was brought to the hospital for delivery, who also had to face the same waterlogged situation. The situation is so serious that the hospital ambulance has also drowned in the water and the doctors are treating the patients by staying in knee-deep water.
It has been raining intermittently for two days
It is worth noting that the continuous rain in Rajnandgaon for the last two days has caused the Shivnath river of the district to overflow. The lower settlements are flooded, affecting many families. Meanwhile, 36 thousand cusecs of water has also been released from Mogra Barrage, which has worsened the situation. The district administration has issued an alert regarding the rain and is engaged in relief work. The administration has appealed to the people to be cautious and stay in safe places.
