Mainpat. With the opening of schools for the academic session 2024-25, Collector Vilas Bhoskar is continuously inspecting different schools of the district to take stock of the quality of education. In this episode, on Monday, the Collector along with the administrative staff reached the schools in the remote areas of Mainpat in the series of surprise inspection. Collector Bhoskar first reached the Government Primary School Dhodhadih by walking about 2 km through a rocky complex path. After this, he crossed the Machhli river on foot and inspected the Primary School Karamha and Anganwadi Center. Also, during the inspection, he also visited Government Pre-Secondary School Karamha, Primary School Birsapani, Primary School Kadamtikara and Anganwadi centers.

During the inspection, Collector Vilas Bhoskar observed the arrangements of all the schools and took stock of the necessary facilities for the children. He observed the attendance of students, teachers, cleanliness, drinking water and electricity arrangements. He instructed the teachers to be serious in giving quality education to the children and said that giving good education to the children is our priority, negligence in this will not be tolerated.

The collector inspected the mid-day meal

Collector Bhoskar, while directing to increase the attendance of children, said that teachers themselves should meet the parents and motivate them to send their children to school. While reviewing the mid-day meal, he directed to provide food as per the menu, which must include green vegetables. Along with this, he directed the BEO to ensure necessary facilities for children for mid-day meal.

Children recited tables and poems, the collector praised them

During the inspection, Collector Bhoskar met the children and asked them questions. During this, the children also recited multiplication tables and poems, for which he encouraged them by giving chocolate biscuits. When Jaswant, a student of class VII of Pre Madhyamik Shala Karma, recited the tables of 16 and 19 fluently to the Collector, he was happy and praised him and presented his pen and wished him a bright future. During this, SDM Ravi Rahi, district and block level officers were also present with the Collector.
