Yogi’s order on Kanwar Yatra is being discussed till America! Pakistani journalist questioned the US State Department spokesperson…

Washington. It has been 75 years since Pakistan became a country by separating from India, many generations have come and gone, but the Pakistanis’ obsession with India can be seen occasionally not anywhere else but even in America, where they vent their frustration by asking questions on issues related to India to the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry. The latest question was asked about the order of the owners to write their names on the shops during the Kanwar Yatra of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

A Pakistani journalist mentioned the name plate issue to US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller and asked what America’s stand is on this issue and what America thinks about this decision.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “We have seen some reports. The Supreme Court has stayed the implementation of those rules on July 22. They are no longer effective. We are always committed to promoting and protecting universal respect for the right to freedom of religion and belief for everyone anywhere in the world. We have discussed with our Indian counterparts the importance of equal treatment for members of all religions.”

It’s clear case of interference in our internal matter, they’re doing it for a long time. @MEAIndia must object!pic.twitter.com/VVu57wzEqq

What was the order of Yogi government?

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had issued an order that it would be mandatory to put up name plates on all food shops on the Kanwar route. People saw this order from a religious perspective and started protesting. The opposition said that due to this decision, social discrimination will increase among people and people will not buy goods from a particular class. The opposition created a ruckus over this decision, while the shopkeepers had put up the boards immediately after the order.

What decision did the Supreme Court give?

This decision of the Yogi government was stayed by the Supreme Court this week. Notice was issued to the UP, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh governments. The Supreme Court had said that there is no need to install name plates. The Supreme Court said that the shops must mention what kind of food they are serving.
