Hareli Tihar was celebrated with great pomp at the Chief Minister’s residence, CM Sai gifted tractors to the farmers

Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai celebrated Chhattisgarh’s first traditional festival Hareli with great enthusiasm at his residence office today. The Chief Minister, along with his wife Kaushalya Sai and family members duly worshipped Tulsi Mata, plough, agricultural equipment and Gidi. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state and a good harvest for the farmers.

On this occasion, on the special request of the artists of Raut Nacha, Chief Minister Sai wore Chhattisgarhi traditional costumes, which infused a new energy in the festival. The Chief Minister congratulated and wished the people of the state on Hareli festival from the stage. In his address, he said that Hareli is mainly a festival of farmers and Chhattisgarh is called the rice bowl. At the same time, the Chief Minister distributed tractors and harvesters and other agricultural equipment to the farmers under the Agricultural Mechanization Sub Mission Scheme.

Today, along with wishing you all on the festival, I want to say that I want to wish all our elders and women in the whole of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of Hareli festival. Today, we have duly worshipped Mahadev on the occasion of Hareli festival. We have worshipped all the instruments of our village and we have prayed to Mahadev that we keep getting your blessings.

There should be adequate rain water, there should be availability of grains, there should be happiness and prosperity in everyone’s home, there should be no sorrow or problem of any kind, God should protect us from any disease or illness, in this way, we have prayed to God by performing Puja on the first festival of Hareli. We have also worshipped Mother Cow and have sought blessings from her as well.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, BJP President Kiran Dev, Chief Minister’s wife Kaushalya Devi Sai also addressed the program. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Chief Minister Sai is working with full commitment and true heart for the betterment of the people of the state, as a result of which he is getting God’s blessings. The state is receiving good rainfall. He said that in the last six months, great work has been done for the welfare of farmers under the leadership of Sai, which is being discussed all over the country. Minister Tankaram Verma, MLA Lata Usendi, Moti Lal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Sampat Agarwal, Gajendra Yadav, Khuswant Saheb and other public representatives and dignitaries were present.

Chhattisgarhi dish prepared for guests

On the occasion of Hareli festival, the Chief Minister’s residence was filled with the fragrance of Chhattisgarhi cuisine. Delicious dishes like Thethri, Khurmi, Pidia, Anarsa, Khaja, Curry Laddu, Muthia, Dumpling Bhajiya, Cheela-Fara, Bara were specially prepared for the guests who came on Hareli Tihar, which the guests enjoyed.

Talking to the media during this time, Chief Minister Sai said that on Hareli Tihar, Lord Shiva was duly worshipped. The agricultural equipment of the farmers was worshipped. Prayers were offered to Mahadev for the prosperity of the state. Today 23 tractors have been provided to the farmers and a harvester has also been given to one farmer.

On Bhoramdev Darshan, Chief Minister Sai said, it is the month of Sawan, tomorrow we are going to Bhoramdev. We will worship Lord Shiva. There we will shower flowers on the Kavadias.
