In a conversation with Lalluram.com, Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Ejaz Dhebar said that the Municipal Corporation is planning to deposit 20 thousand rupees in the name of daughters born in government hospitals. For this, apart from the corporation officials and MIC members, there are plans to talk to the bank people as well.
The mayor said that after talking to the bank people, efforts will be made to provide the highest returns to the daughters under the scheme. He said that he got the idea of this scheme from the educational tour he went on with the councilors recently. He said that he is also a father of daughters, so he realizes what responsibilities a father of daughters has and how important this amount is for a poor family.
The final decision in this matter will come only after the MIC meeting. However, the municipal corporation officials have started making a strategy in this matter.
