Around 10 am on Saturday, Balodabazar police reached the residence of Congress MLA Devendra Yadav in Sector 5 to arrest him. A large number of supporters gathered to protest against the arrest of the MLA and raised slogans. During this, a large number of police force was deployed. Before the arrest, MLA Devendra Yadav climbed on the car and patted his chest and waved the flag of Satnam. In fact, during the demonstration of the Satnami community, an incident of arson took place in the Collectorate premises of Balodabazar district on June 10. The protesters set fire to more than 150 two-wheelers and 10 four-wheelers. Many documents were burnt to ashes in the Collector and SP office. MLA Devendra Yadav is accused of instigating this violence.
