Manendra Patel, Durg. There was a commotion in Vaishali Nagar area of Bhilai when a speeding car rammed into a truck loaded with gas cylinders parked on the roadside. The collision was so severe that the car was shattered into pieces, two youths were seriously injured in the accident despite the car’s airbag opening. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took out the injured trapped in the car and sent both of them to the hospital for treatment where their treatment is going on.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened on Sunday evening around 4:30 pm, the car was coming at a high speed from Surya Mall, the driver lost control at a turn before Kohka Chowk, due to which the car collided with a truck parked on the roadside. During this time, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. After getting information about the accident, the police team reached the spot and after a lot of effort took the injured out of the car. One of the injured has been identified as Shafiq Khan, a resident of Farid Nagar, while the police is trying to identify the other youth.
