Raipur. In the festive season, the cancellation and delay of trains passing through Chhattisgarh continues. Recently, 72 trains have been cancelled due to non-interlocking of Rajnandgaon third railway line. After this, 46 trains were cancelled due to mega block in Bilaspur-Katni railway line and Damoh station. Now, for infrastructure development in Delhi Railway Division of Northern Railway, the railway has decided to cancel 2 trains, run 3 trains under controlled operation, delay 2 trains and change the route of 6 trains.
Let us tell you that in Delhi Railway Division of Northern Railway, Palwal and New Prithla Junction (Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited) will be connected to the yard. This work will be done from 29 August to 17 September. Due to this work, the operation of 13 trains will be affected. Passengers are facing a lot of problems due to frequent cancellation of trains and change of route. The trains running on the route are also running late from their scheduled time. In such a situation, a lot of anger is being seen among the passengers.
Trains to be cancelled:
14624 Firozpur-Seoni Express, which will remain canceled from 4th to 17th September. 14623 Seoni-Firozpur Express, which will remain canceled from 5th to 18th September.
Trains running on diverted routes:
12550 Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan-Durg Express will run via Adarsh Nagar Delhi-Delhi Cantt-Rewari-Alwar-Mathura on 29 August, 5 and 12 September. 18237 Korba-Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express will run via Agra-Mitaval-Khurja-Meerut City between 5 to 16 September. 18238 Amritsar-Korba Chhattisgarh Express will run via Meerut City-Khurja-Mitaval-Agra between 5 to 16 September. 18477 Puri-Yoga Nagari Rishikesh Utkal Express will run via Agra-Mitaval-Khurja-Meerut City between 4 to 15 September. 18478 Yoga Nagari Rishikesh-Puri Utkal Express will run via Meerut City-Khurja-Mitaval-Agra between 6 to 17 September. 20807 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Express will run via Agra-Mitaval-Ghaziabad-New Delhi on 6, 7, 10, 13 and 14 September.
Trains to be controlled:
12410 Nizamuddin-Raigarh Godwana Express will be controlled for 40 minutes at Asavati railway station on 29 and 31 August, 2, 3, 4 and 5 September. 12410 Nizamuddin-Raigarh Godwana Express running on 17 September will be stopped at Asavati station for 45 minutes. 12442 New Delhi-Bilaspur Rajdhani Express will be controlled for 45 minutes at Asavati station on 14 September.
Trains departing late:
12410 Nizamuddin-Raigarh Godwana Express will leave with a delay of 1 hour 30 minutes on 12 September. 12410 Nizamuddin-Raigarh Godwana Express will leave with a delay of 1 hour on 14 and 16 September.
These changes may cause a lot of trouble to passengers. People traveling during the festive season may be forced to rearrange their pre-scheduled travel plans, creating a panic situation.
