Chhattisgarh: Villagers are angry over the shortage of teachers in government schools, parents sit on dharna for the future of their children

Bemetara. Angry villagers have come out on protest today over the acute shortage of teachers in the Government High School of Gram Panchayat Chargwa under Bemetara district of Chhattisgarh. Villagers including parents of students studying in the school are protesting outside the school over the shortage of teachers. They have accused the departmental officers that despite complaining about the matter several times, the problem has not been solved, due to which the future of the students studying there is going into darkness.

Current state of the school

More than 200 children from 6 villages are studying in the government school of Chargwa Gram Panchayat, who study from class 6th to class 10th, but only 4 teachers are available in the school. Due to the lack of teachers, the studies of children studying in all classes are getting affected.

Villagers and parents are constantly trying to find a solution to the problem and are demanding immediate action from the authorities. If this problem is not resolved soon, it can have a serious impact on children’s education.
