On the occasion of ‘National Sports Day’ today, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw had a courtesy meeting with former cricket captain and President of Professional Golf Tour of India Kapil Dev in New Delhi, who won India its first ODI Cricket World Cup. This meeting of both took place in Chhattisgarh Sadan. During this, a meaningful discussion took place between Deputy CA Saw and Kapil Dev on promoting sports activities in the state.
Let us tell you that earlier during his Delhi visit, Deputy Chief Minister Saw had inspected the state’s Tribal Youth Hostel located in Dwarka, New Delhi on Tuesday. During this, he met the students of the hostel and took information about studies. It is worth noting that Saw is holding meetings with officials in New Delhi on various subjects. He is discussing topics related to Chhattisgarh.
