Raipur. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a state level Teachers’ Honor Ceremony is being organized in the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan from 11 am today under the chief hospitality of Governor Ramen Deka. This ceremony will be presided over by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, 55 teachers will be honored in the state level Teachers’ Honor Ceremony. Out of these, 52 teachers will be honored with the Governor Teachers’ Honor and 3 teachers will be honored with the State Teachers’ Honor Memorial Award in the name of great litterateurs of the state.
State Teacher Samman Memorial Award year 2024
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, three teachers will be awarded the State Teachers’ Award in the name of three great literary figures of the state at a state level function. Among them, lecturer Dr. Rashmi Singh Dhurve of Bilaspur district will be awarded the “Dr. Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Memorial Award”, teacher Rajarshi Pandey of Kabirdham district will be awarded the “Dr. Mukutdhar Pandey Memorial Award”, senior class teacher Dr. Sarita Sahu of Durg district will be awarded the “Dr. Baldev Prasad Mishra Memorial Award”.
Today’s public darshan postponed
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s weekly public darshan on Thursdays has been postponed this Thursday, 5th September due to unavoidable reasons.
Deputy CM Arun Sao will be involved in various programs today
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will participate in various programs in Lormi of Mungeli district on September 5. He will leave for Lormi by road from Bilaspur at 10 am on September 5. He will participate in a local program at Charkhambha in Lormi at 11 am. Arun Saw will inaugurate various construction works done by the Municipal Corporation at Kabir Bhawan in Lormi at 12 noon. He will participate in the Shiksha Gaurav Alankaran ceremony there at 12:15 pm. Deputy CM Saw will meet people in his MLA office in Lormi from 3 pm to 4 pm. After that he will leave for Raipur from Lormi at 5:30 pm. He will reach Raipur at 7:30 pm.
Home Minister Vijay Sharma will take a review meeting of the Bilaspur range of the police department today
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma will hold a review meeting of Bilaspur Range of Police Department during his visit to Bilaspur today. Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail Department of Chhattisgarh Government, Director General of Police, Secretary of Home Department, Inspector General of Police of Bilaspur Range and Superintendents of Police of districts of Bilaspur Range will be present in this meeting.
In the meeting, the status of pending serious crimes, unsolved cases of blind murder, stabbing, sword fighting and firing will be reviewed. Along with this, the status of pending Murga cases, pending cases of National and State Human Rights Commission will also be reviewed. Discussion on pending cases of crimes against women and children and compensation to the victims, pending cases of human trafficking, cases of missing women, men and children, crimes against Scheduled Castes and Tribes and the status of distribution of relief amount will be reviewed. The updated status of chit fund cases, progress of investigation of cases registered under NDPS Act and the process of destruction of narcotics, crimes related to cows, vehicle seizure and confiscation proceedings, upcoming action plans regarding law and order of the district and best practices being implemented in the district will be discussed. Important works done by Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police will be reviewed.
Date for filling exam form extended
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has extended the date for filling the examination form for self-study students appearing in High School and Higher Secondary Board Examination. Self-study students can fill the form from 9th September to 25th September with special late fee.
