CG NEWS: CMHO takes strict action on absence of doctors in health center, issues notice to four doctors

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. CMHO has issued notice to four doctors who were absent from Ratanpur Community Health Center (CSC). During investigation, four doctors were found absent from Ratanpur Community Health Center on 31st August. Whereas these days malaria and diarrhea outbreak has spread in Ratanpur area. It is being told that the complaint of the matter has reached the top officials.

There is an outbreak of malaria and diarrhea in Ratanpur area. A large number of victims are reaching the community health center for treatment. When the team reached to investigate the complaint, four doctors of the community health center were absent from their duty. The CMHO has issued them a show cause notice, which includes gynecologist Dr. Sheela Shaha, Dr. Nehal Jha, ophthalmologist Dr. M.L. Koram, anesthesia Nidhi Koram. Local people have strongly objected to the negligence of the health department. People say that the field staff of the health department is not working properly in Ratanpur area, due to which deaths are constantly occurring here due to malaria and diarrhea.
