Let us tell you that the CBI had arrested former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Dr. Sandeep Ghosh and three others for their alleged involvement in financial irregularities. The three others arrested were Ghosh’s security guard Afsar Ali (44) and hospital vendors Biplab Singha (52) and Suman Hazara (46). These people used to supply materials to the hospital.

The case was registered by Kolkata Police on August 19
On August 19, Kolkata Police registered a case against Sandip Ghosh under Sections 120B, 420 of the IPC and Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. However, after the High Court’s order, the CBI took over the investigation on August 24. Sandip Ghosh was arrested under these sections.

Governor stopped the Aparajita bill
